About

My name is David Trevor (DT)

I started sculpting when I was 16 but life got in the way and work was my focus. As I prepare for my retirement I recognise the fact that I need to define myself by more than a job and so I have gone back to sculpting. For more than 2 years now its become one of the great pleasures in my life. I love the fact you can turn a piece of mud into something totally different. Sometimes beautiful, maybe sometimes a bit weird but always your creation. I have an eclectic style for sure and I am still finding my way in what I hope will be a long journey. If you can't find what you want here I am happy to take commissions - You can contact me through this website.

About

My name is Jessica Fordyce

Jessica Fordyce lives in Surrey with her children and two dogs. She started sculpture classes in her teens but then left it in favour of poetry for a creative outlet. Jessica returned to sculpt a few years after her MS diagnosis and loss of sensation in her hands. She was curious to see what she could create without a normal sense of touch. Her work is within the tradition held by many sculptors that the figure is waiting to be discovered within the clay. As a Mindset Coach she is passionate about communication and believes sculpture is a pure method for communicating emotion.

About

My name is Mark Swan

It is no coincidence that his work harks back to an earlier era when technique and skill were more highly regarded than they perhaps are today.

Mark builds on the hard earned expertise of four generations of professional artists including an Edwardian Royal Academician, bringing modern sensibility to traditional materials. Mark Swan studied sculpture at three art schools and at the feet of professional artists in London, the Netherlands and Italy, where he spent ten years living and working in Rome, Naples and Milan.

Mark has worked on numerous commissions from the public, corporate and private sectors over the past 20 years, working within the exacting requirements of each project without compromising his high standards as a sculptor.

Although Mark is proficient in a variety of sculptural mediums and languages, clay lends itself to his particular skills where the fluidity and ephemeral nature of expression can be captured and fixed for the viewer to bring to it their own ways of seeing.
